Topic: Forgiveness

Dear brothers and sisters forgiveness is the most important thing that we have to cultivate in our lives. We should learn to forgive each and every mistake of others so that we can be trained properly in our spiritual life.

Now a day’s forgiveness does not exist in our hearts for we have influence of pride in every situation. For pride exalts us and make us think of being greater than others. Pride will surely destroy our life and it causes us to commit sin.

Because of pride unforgiveness rises to destroy our soul in many ways. So dear brothers and sister let us try to bring down our pride and let us be humble so that forgiveness can be cultivated in our life, on the other hand we need to ask forgiveness with others whether it is big or small mistakes for we need to humble ourselves like Jesus who was persecuted very badly without any reason but Jesus forgave every single one of them and suffered for all our sins.

In today’s modern world we can see around us most of the people acting with pride because they possess wealth, fame or power. We need to change our thinking on how to live a life pleasing to Jesus. If Jesus can forgive his enemies then with the help of Jesus we have to forgive others and also ask forgiveness with others for all the big and small things we have done. Jesus said to forgive everyone otherwise the heavenly father will not forgive our sins in the same way.  Therefore we need to forgive and ask forgiveness from God and everyone no matter what they have done or we have done so that we will be trained on the earth to enter the kingdom of heaven when we die. Amen.

Catholic reflections, By Ryan Pinto

Serving Jesus

Dear brothers and sisters,

To be humble, caring and loving first we have to serve Jesus always for He is our provider our master and savior so we have to serve Him as servants but eventually even though God has blessed us so much we do not serve and we become proud thinking we are higher than God and this can lead us to great sin and trouble.

We have to become obedient children and not rebellious and stubborn children. For we serve Jesus only, Jesus has told us in the bible that we cannot serve two master that is God and wealth. We find difficult to serve God because we have to use our freewill carefully and ask  God and take the proper decision so that we may serve God faithfully.

Jesus says in the bible that “what does profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul”.

Therefore brothers and sisters we have to be alert always because devil waits for our weakest moments to strike us so that we may fall trap to sin which will take us away from God.

When we fall trap to sin instead of rising up we give up and lose the battle because of our foolishness. For we cannot serve the world and God we have to either give up one and serve one. God giving us a chance to change and we should try our level best to change and serve God only and not the world and its desire.

For God never punishes but rather always blesses us but we repay God so badly by being rebellious and also unfaithful to Him. Most of us take advantage of Gods goodness, blessing and gift.

God gives us everything we ask but we do not give what God asks that is to love for him. So therefore let us ask God to forgive our sins and also we should ask God to help us in trouble. For life is a test anytime anything can fail and because of that we may fall into problems or trials or sickness or sufferings. If we obey God and accept it then surely we will be serving Him with Love.

We as humans has a bad attitude that is when the bad situation turns in good situations we always turn away from God go back to our old sinful life. We have to be alert and ask Gods help to change our lives so that we may always remain till the end with God through His Mercy and Grace. Amen.
