Topic: SIN

Dear brothers and sisters, from today onwards we must try change our lives for we are all in darkness and we have to try to find the light which is very helpful to us and that light is God.

Fortunately to receive and see the light we to reduce and stop committing sins in our lives for sin destroys a person completely, it does not matter how big is the sin it is the same so therefore we have to go confession regularly and confess our sins so that we can be worthy to receive God’s grace.

 

God’s gate of mercy is always open for us but we have to check our lives and see whether we are changing or always taking advantage of God’s goodness. We should not turning away from God and sin so that sin can lead us to punishment, loss of many things in life, fire of hell or purgatory and sickness.

What is the meaning of sin? And why is it contagious and dangerous?

Sins means going against the will and commandment of God for it is doing the exact opposite of God’s desire, for God always loves us and forever is righteous He always tells us not to sin and we always get in trouble by being careless.

 Even though we are warned we become lazy in our life we always give up before trying many times before being successful. Just like a true father who never abandons His children sends help for us but we always reject it by sin.

For sin is very dangerous it will drown us into the fire of purgatory and hell.

 For we have to be careful in what we think, what we speak and what we do for we have to be alert always. Jesus is telling us today to stay awake and never sleep for if we sleep then it will cost us a lot.

 Sin makes the punishment to increase. The devil is searching people to catch and makes them his slaves, but God is not harsh He forgives and loves us He gives us numerous chance to change our life but we  ignore the great gift of God which is the only solution for all of us to live. We are all alive only by the grace and the love of God nothing else.

 

For to overcome sin first we must learn how to pray first we who are born of flesh cannot overcome anything without grace and forgiveness of God . Therefore God has given us everything life, food, clothes, money etc. but the thing is we human do not thank and give glory to God we all are too much into the nature of pride which cause us to sin too.

Many fail to see the truth because we blinded by sin, if we overcome sin God will give us wisdom our eyes will be opened and we can understand the truth, for without Gods help everything is impossible in our lives so we have to seek God’s help everyday to overcome sin. We need to take our decisions properly, life is test and according to the test results we will know our end that is heaven, purgatory or hell.

Sin will lead us to downfall and through God’s grace we can win the battle and God will truly bless us if we try because most of us give up before trying and this is equivalent to laziness and laziness is a sin. For God’s arms are open for us but we don’t see it but if we try we will understand and see by the help of God. We are soldiers of Christ and soldiers of Christ who never give up but stand bold and try their best always as true follower of christ. Amen.

TOPIC: Honour your father and mother

 

Dear brothers and sisters

We have to obey our parents for we all blessed by God with parents. We have to respect gift of parenthood by obeying in what parents say, speak politely and we should try our best to make them happy no matter how old they are. Even though our parents are old we should behave like a child with them and not like a boss because we have money.

 

 Now a day’s children never obey our parents. Children ignore parent’s good words, we talk back, we raise our voice against them, this shows dishonour and disrespect towards our parents. Children which ever age we reach we have no authority over our parents. parents are in the place of God and are our earthly trainers they give what we want if they can and try their level best to bring us up.

 We have to thank God and ask God to bless our parents whether they are alive or dead, for parents take lot of pain to develop us into good human being. But we all do not understand this love for if we cannot obey our parents whom we can see then how can we obey God whom we cannot see. For God plans good things for us so only if we obey whatever God says.

We must pray for all the orphans, for they are children of God. Remember dear brothers and sisters parents are a big gift from God and parents are in the place of God if we disrespect them it is like disrespecting God’s commandments.

For we have no authority and rights over any one we have to treat every one small and big as how we treat our parents we have to obey God always for He is the provider of our soul and we are His sheep for God treats us like children

Disrespect towards parents can cause life on this earth to end early. as God said honour your father and mother so that your days may be long and prosperous. Let us not abandon and sadden our parents but rather let us look after them well till they are alive. Parents sometimes are harsh on us it is not their fault it is a way of discipline

 

Let us ask God to bless us with the gift of obedience so that we can walk in His way of light righteously by obeying our parents and making them happy always by the grace of God we will be faithful to Gods commands. Amen.

Topic: Love

Love is the most important thing that we have to cultivate in our lives. Love is the starting of all good things and love help us to welcome God in our lives. There 4 important places where we have to use love always:

1. God

2. Family

3. Enemies

4. Neighbours

 

1. God: - remember dear brothers and sister’s first love, first preference, first glory, praise and thanks to God first always because He is our creator and our only God whom we serve. God has created us for a big purpose and that big purpose is to love Him always by serving and obeying Him faithfully. But we people always sin and always follow the opposite of Gods will and that break the relationship of love between us and God. Relationship with God is always broken because of us, we humans break our relationship with God by committing sin. Now today God is rebuilding the relationship and love with us through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for us, for Jesus has given us the answer in the bible in John 3:3 no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born again from above. For this means that Jesus was explaining that without changing our old sinful life into righteous life we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. God loved us so much He said in bible in John 3:16 :- for God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that we may not perish but have eternal life. Therefore we must understand that God’s love has no end, no measure, no time For God is giving us chance every day to change our lives for He loves so much even though we are sinners and are unclean to enter his kingdom still He tries hard to bring us back just like a true Father does for we are His children so we have to act like obedient children and not like enemies.

In ten commandments first commandment gives us the answer how to Love God: love the lord your God with all you heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength for is the greatest and best commandment which we have to follow everyday of our lives. 

 

2. Family: dear brothers and sisters Jesus has given us family to learn good morals, to love one another. For family is given to us as a gift of unity to learn to love God. We have to love our family by obeying one another, speaking politely, and by being always united. For family is a part of training where we have to learn without loving our family and loving others it is impossible. For now a day’s families are not united and are scattered away with their own life and this is not acceptable and pleasing in God’s sight for love has to be united and not to bring disorder in us.

3. enemies : this is the important thing that we as humble Christians have to follow for this is a very difficult part therefore it is impossible to love our enemies without help of God.

Jesus showed us how to love the enemies by crying to the Father “ Father forgive them they do not know what they are doing”.

This what we have to cultivate dear brothers and sisters no matter how much our enemies cause us problem and suffering we should show love to them like how Jesus did on the cross we have to love our enemies by asking God forgiveness on their life for they still do not know the truth of the kingdom of God.

 

4. Neighbors: we have to love our neighbor as how we love our self. We have to show and act on it to our neighbor. God has given us neighbor to be united with them as a family. God will bless us abundantly if we follow his commandments and follow it whole heartedly.

Love is the key enter heaven. For without love it is difficult to start good things in our own, let us all do this for Christ and follow him whole heartedly with love for everyone. Love is key and the way to find Jesus. Amen.

Topic: Holy Eucharist

Dear brothers and sisters as we are Catholics, we receive Holy Eucharist in the church regularly may be once a week or once a month or once a year. It is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church which every catholic has to follow. The Holy Eucharist in sacraments stands at third that is after the sacrament of Baptism and sacrament of reconciliation or confession.

 

For without confession we cannot receive Holy Eucharist. For those who want to receive Holy Eucharist have to go for confession to be cleansed by their sins. Holy Eucharist is very important for all of us dear brothers and sister for it is a way of welcoming Jesus through faith in body, mind and spirit.

We are blessed that we can receive Eucharist when we participate in the Holy mass. We are welcoming Jesus in our heart and not for the sake of receiving habitually.

 

There are three parts where we have to see whether we are worthy the holy Eucharist.

1. Confession

Confession: - this very important for us Catholics for without confession we cannot receive Holy Eucharist because when we sin we are unclean so to be cleansed through the grace of God we have to go for confession before receiving Holy Eucharist. For mercy of God is confession and grace of God is His body and blood that is Holy Eucharist.

Dear brothers and sisters we are now a days we are offending God and not receiving the Holy Eucharist worthily. Why?

Because of not going for confession before taking Holy Eucharist especially when in mortal sin, for dear brothers and sisters mortal sins are displeaseful in the sight of God for it is a great disgrace to God and it creates a boundary between us and God and receiving Holy Eucharist without going for confession when in mortal sin creates another mortal sin which too costly for us

So let not take Holy Eucharist in an unworthy manner, let make up our mind to go mass every week on Saturday after 5 pm  or Sunday any time if we don’t attend it will become a mortal sin. Dear brothers and sisters let us always love God and obey his commandments and go for confessions regularly.

 

2. 1 hour gap of food or taste drink before we receive Eucharist {except water}.

1 hour gap of food or taste drink {except water}: dear brothers and sisters Jesus giving us a very small time to keep away from food or taste drinks before receiving Holy Eucharist like tea or coffee etc. for an hour fasting if we can’t do then what is the use for us.

 

3. Receiving Holy Eucharist

for this is important dear brothers and sisters we have to get the first Holy Eucharist, to get it we go for catechism when we are young ,for without learning the order of the mass and how to receive Holy Eucharist we cannot receive Holy Eucharist for we have to receive the Holy Eucharist every time we attend the holy mass.

For many people never go confessions nor never receive Holy Eucharist nor go at least for mass every week for many years dear brothers let us not be lazy in spiritual life and for receiving Holy Eucharist because God is giving us everything to escape purgatory or hell.

 

We have to follow whatever Jesus tell us to do to receive Holy Eucharist which will separates us from sin and gives new chance of Jesus entering our heart. For God is the source of our strength through the receiving of Holy Eucharist. Dear brothers and sisters let us not offend and disgrace the power of Holy Eucharist and confession. Receiving Eucharist is an advantage for human beings to prepare themselves to live like a child of God in His Kingdom. Amen.
