Confession is way of repentance that we ask God’s forgiveness for our sins and God forgives us always. We must always thank God for the sacrament of confession. Sacrament of confession is given to us by God as chance for all of us to change and give up the earthly things.
If this sacrament was not there than we humans would have been severely punished and we would be doomed today. Sacrament of Confession is one the seven sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church which every Catholic has to follow.
In confession Priest will be taking the place of God and gives us the absolution this displays God’s sign for forgiveness in our life. When we go for confession we do the penance for our sins. If we do not do the penance then it counts as a sin because it shows that we are lazy.
if we are doing the same sins repeatedly after going for confession and not stop little also and doing more and more then it is a waste because when you go for confession we have to try to reduce our sins and not take advantage of Gods sacrament like thinking oh! Confession is there I can go for confession and confess my sins and commit more and more sins if we continue like this than we have to suffer either on earth or in the fire of purgatory or hell. In the church rules it is said that we should go for confession at least once in a year before Easter but to go once a year is very difficult for people who are lazy in spiritual life. We must try to go every month or every week for confession it s a good habit that we should cultivate in our lives so that we may be clean and free from sin. Therefore let us try to reduce our sins and try to go for confession regularly and follow God’s commandments and remember God is patient for some time to see whether we repent or else we have to go through punishment because He loves so much. God punishes us for our own good and conversion when we are capable enough God will set us free from punishment and have mercy on us.
